Holly: So how was your experience?

Lillyana: Wait, are you sure it's going?

Holly: Yes, we're going to record.

Lillyana: Okay. So COVID was very strange because nobody was walking around. Everybody was inside, and there were so many rules and signs plastered around, and you had to follow the regulations. And there was just . . . It was really hard because you couldn't see anybody, you can't to go and talk to people. You can't go say hi or anything like that, which is hard when you're being social. So it was just kind of stay away from people.

Holly: How'd you feel William?

William: In some ways . . . In some ways it kind of felt nice. In some ways it felt harder. Like, I'd couldn't be around my friends, and that made it really challenging some days, and . . .

Holly: But you mastered the online learning, didn't you?

(William shrugs)

William: You go.

Holly: And for me? Not a lot changed, because I still had to continue going to work every day but the world did have an ominous feel to it, didn't it?

Lillyana: Yeah. We were at online learning for a whole semester, and it was very tough because the teachers weren't very engaging with the students when they were online on zoom. And it was very hard to ask questions when you wanted to because they wouldn't look at the chat, and it was just kind of a struggle.

But it was also kind of fun because you could literally work in your bed, and you didn't even really have to get dressed. I mean, brush your hair, because obviously they're going to look at your face. But otherwise, I think it was okay.

Holly: How did you guys feel about all the rioting and stuff that happened during this time?

Lillyana: The rioting was very sad. I was on online platforms to read and a lot of people were explaining the riots and how to be safe. And it sounded very terrifying. Even on the news, it was very scary watching people explain or project their feelings about certain things and then get injured for it.

Holly: How did you feel, W?

William: About what?

Holly: The riots

William: They were chaotic, and I felt like that could've been avoided. And I felt like that . . . like that was just the lowest that humanity could get right there.

And I hope that we won't do that ever again. And in the future, you will learn from our mistakes and never do that again.

Holly: Perfect. That was really good you guys.

Lillyana: Well riot isn't really a bad thing. How it was handled --that was bad. But, the people rioting had a good idea. They had a strong point, and it needed to be said.

Holly: Do you think COVID helped escalate everything?

Lillyana: No COVID obviously didn't help. I mean, how can you stay six feet apart when you're rioting. That's just not going work.

Holly: I mean people's tensions, maybe.

Lillyana: Yeah. You can't . . . Again, it's six feet apart. I mean, obviously they didn't listen, but it's awfully lot of tension because you get in trouble for that.

Holly: Alright, press the button somebody
